I am so sick of seeing so much hatred in the world and even more so, all the hypocrisy. Tragedy after tragedy, violence begetting violence, and still people point fingers and use other people’s pain to propagate their own political agenda. It’s almost like people are so focused on tearing down their opposition, that they have lost focus of what really matters. When a tragedy occurs, people are salivating at the teeth, eager to hurl blame toward the opposite party in order to perpetuate their ideals. Instead of coming together to help make things better, we are more intent on tearing each other apart.

Every day, I am more and more disgusted by the things I see. Some of you make politics your entire personality, and you really think clattering away at a keyboard to share articles and write your opinions are making a difference in the world. There are some of you where I read your posts and whether you think it or not, it comes across as judgmental and hateful and I feel unwelcomed in your presence. And what’s funny is people reading this will think I am talking about one type of stereotypical person, and others will think the opposite, and the truth is it’s both.

I recently went to the movies twice for 2 different movies. The first was Wicked. You know what that’s about? How the ruling faces and most powerful people of the land have completely fabricated evidence to paint a good person in a negative light. Now, the whole population is inundated with propaganda and they believe it without a second guess, because their government says it, so it must be true as they have their best interest in mind. The vilified person tries to do everything right, and never gets the chance to clear her name, and lives in anonymity with people believing they died a villain, while someone more β€œworthy” and aesthetically pleasing gets to be the powerful people’s puppet and the face of a martyr. The rich and powerful in today’s world are laughing in our faces about how easily people are manipulated all because of what they see on the media, not realizing that the media can tell stories in a way to convey their own personal bias.

The second movie was Zootopia 2. Now, this one was about how all the animals created a land where they can live harmoniously and in peace. But the exceptionally rich and exceedingly powerful family wanted to take all the credit, so they fabricated a false story over an actual murder to portray snakes as evil, where they all were persecuted and banished from the land. Just another story about how obscenely wealthy and categorically powerful people can sway the public’s opinion with fabricated evidence and false claims. Sometimes, they get away with it forever, pulling the strings that make the public dance blindly to their instruction.

Time and time again this happens in history with real people and real situations. Most of you truly do not realize how deep corruption and deceit goes. I, unfortunately, fell victim to it firsthand with the New York State Athletic Commission. It’s insane what people in power and with money can get away with, despite physical evidence and proof in the contrary. And the scariest thing about all of it, is there is nothing us regular people can do about it. We are powerless in most everything, especially if we never come together in cohesion.  Which is crazy considering how many more of us there are than of them. I am glad for this experience however, because it opened my eyes to how easily propaganda to portray a side of a story can go. It doesn’t matter if it’s all lies. Money talks, and people in power are playing us like marionettes on a string.

Look at what just happened with Diddy. This man was pure evil, and playing in everyone’s faces all along. He got in with rich and powerful people that he leeched on, and became one of those himself. I have read a lot of the court docs and allegations. That man is deplorable. Not to mention all the talks of his associations or involvements with several people’s untimely deaths. It is for people like this that I hope upon hope they spend eternity paying for their sins, and ridding the world of their nefarious ways. Do not lose focus of what the elite can get away with. Do not think for one second he was the only perpetrator, he is simply the scapegoat; the fall guy for people even more rich and even more powerful.

How many times this year did someone in a public position or occupation die, and people celebrated, simply because they disagreed with their viewpoints and opinions. People taking quotes and video clips that are sloppily put together and taken out of context in order to sway others. They may not even realize themselves the erroneous ways in which they have acted or what they believed to be true. With AI advancing every day, things are only going to get more convoluted, and we will be worse off and at each other’s throats. Most people have a lot more gray area than the public paints them out to be, but people are so blinded by hate, that they assume every single thought that a person had was wrong, evil, moronic, or hateful.

I can sympathize with people, but I will never try to assume I know each individual’s personal feelings on a matter, or try to wheedle my way into their true and lived experiences. I can, however, speak on subjects that I am directly effected by or personally entrenched with. Recently, there was a mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia. A Jewish get together celebrating Hanukkah was targeted. 12 people died, including children and Holocaust survivors. Don’t think for one second that all of you people I have friended on social media like Facebook, who can’t keep your yaps shut about any other tragedy, especially mass shootings, are now all of a sudden radio silent. I will not fucking forget your cowardice and hypocrisy when it comes to an act of antisemitism.

To make it even worse, countless strangers on social media are either apathetic about the tragedy, making jokes, or even worse, celebrating while writing β€˜Free Palestine’ on the posts instead. They hide behind their antisemitism by falsely equating it with antizionism, and now, all of a sudden, the people who are so loving and believe in being tolerant are anything but. And what’s crazy is 98% of the people screeching that phrase have no idea what it truly entails, could not elaborate on the definition, would not be welcome with open arms in Palestine (would be ostracized if not violently attacked), and are going off of their emotions on cherry-picked images and videos. We are being Wicked-ed and Zootopia-d every single day. Unless I witness something with my very own eyes firsthand, I can never be sure what is real and what is fabricated.

All of this shows me that life is truly a blip in the radar. Here one day, and gone the next. I am doing my best (although I know I make mistakes), in living my life by practicing kindness and compassion. I love speaking with people. I can be malleable on most things, and change my thoughts when presented with true evidence (not unproven propaganda). I can disagree with some of your viewpoints, and still consider you a friend. Just because I have an opinion about some things, does not mean I fall totally to that line of thinking. Too many people are so consumed with politics, that they paint all liberals as this, all conservatives as that, and I am so over it. You can have some democratic ideals but not be a left-wing extremist. You can have republican ideologies and not be a cult-like worshiper. You can vote one way or another and not agree with every single thing your party does or says. We are more than just our politics.

At the end of the day, hating one group or another because of the color of their skin, their religion, their politics, or anything else, is so self-limiting. No one type of category is all bad, or all good. There are good people and bad people from all walks of life, but the second you paint one category with the exact same brush, you drown the details with a thick coat of paint that can’t be deciphers. So eager to be clamoring to scream their opinions first, that we have officially lost the plot. If history has taught us anything, it’s that humans will always be self-righteous and violent aggressors who have no idea how to mitigate open and honest dialogue and compromise. I pray that the future generations will not have to start over from the grounds soiled with unnecessary bloodshed and sacrifice, and that they may live in a world that can coexist in peace.
